Handmade silver ring with a red patterned cabochon stone on weathered wood

I've always loved rocks. Seriously, even the “boring” ones.

I started wire wrapping crystals to make necklaces years ago and decided I wanted to up my game in 2022. I began taking metalsmithing and lapidary classes at Boulder Metalsmithing Association (BoMA) and quickly fell in love with playing with metal, fire, and pretty rocks.

I was lucky enough to serve on the BoMA board for a couple of years and became the executive director in 2025.

Putting my work out into the world has been such a beautiful experience, and I hope to continue doing that and share the joy of metalsmithing with others.

In the studio

Each piece is shaped by hand, by me — bezels, textures, and sometimes even the stone itself.

From recycling sterling to cabochons cut and set with care, the work reflects the mountains, the bench, and the stories the stones carry.
